Last week, we went outside to look at the changes occurring in the wooded area on the school grounds. We talked about what changes we observed and why these changes may be happening. While we were out, the students collected some leaves that we used as negative stencils in an art project.
The students sponge painted some fall colours around the edges of the leaves they collected. The students had a good time mixing colours to see what would work best. The works of art are displayed on the bulletin board outside the classroom. Feel free to drop by and have a look.
